My name is Lisa McCarthy, founder of Spectrum Display.
I have over 20 years experience in Visual Display... 11 of those years were spent with Debenhams as the Regional Visual Manager for Ireland, both on the ground with the stores and as part of the Creative & Marketing division. My job was to work with store teams and support them in creating inspirational visual merchandising, while growing sales and projecting the brand identity and values.
I set up my own business in 2017, and have been working with a wide variety of businesses to provide a vast range of services since then….including displays, visual merchandising, providing design services, creating pop up stores, renovating stores, restaurants and waiting rooms.
I have been training people throughout every phase of my working life. With Debenhams I co-created and rolled-out a Visual Merchandising and Display programme for the company. I have also trained certified retail courses for Limerick & Clare Education and Training board.

Regardless of the scale of the business, Visual Merchandising is a revenue generating activity, aiming to increase sales.
An excellent product or service can be devalued by bad visual merchandising. Great VM can increase basket size, create a more engaging customer experience that builds loyalty, and it creates great content for digital marketing.
